Yongsan Brunch Cafe Recommendation, Serendy Piknic Near Yongsan Electronics Market

Hidden among the old electronics shops and industrial repair alleys near Yongsan Electronics Market, there is one place that instantly catches your attention from the outside alone — Serendy Piknic, one of the most relaxing spots for a peaceful Yongsan brunch in Seoul.
Unlike the rugged atmosphere of the surrounding streets, this cafe stands out with its bright white exterior and calm, foreign-inspired aesthetic. Even on a first visit, it is impossible to miss.
I originally discovered this place while visiting the electronics market to pick up a custom-built computer. I noticed several customers entering with their dogs and immediately became curious about the space. Ever since then, I had saved it on my list of places to visit someday.
Recently, I finally had plans nearby and decided it was the perfect opportunity to enjoy a slow solo brunch there.

Interior of Yongsan Brunch Serendy Piknic
Yongsan Brunch Serendy Piknic’s interior is divided into two levels with very high ceilings, creating a wonderfully open and airy feeling despite the cafe not being especially large.
The entire space is decorated in clean white tones with a thoughtful layout that feels modern yet comfortable. One side features an open kitchen, and during lunchtime, the sound of cooking and plating adds an almost cinematic atmosphere to the experience.

Watching dishes being prepared while smelling fresh food instantly made me hungry the moment I sat down.

Although the space itself is not huge, the tables are intentionally spread out generously rather than packed tightly together. This creates a calm and relaxing environment that feels ideal for solo brunches or quiet conversations.

The seating arrangement includes:
- Two 4-person tables
- Three 2-person tables
- A lower-level area with one additional 2-person table and one 6-person table
In total, the cafe can accommodate around 24 guests, making it one of those small but carefully curated Yongsan brunch spaces.
Because of the limited seating, reservations are highly recommended if:
- You want to avoid waiting
- You are visiting with 3 or more people
- You are planning to visit during peak brunch hours
I also made a reservation beforehand and thankfully got the last remaining 2-person table.
Pet-Friendly Brunch Spot in Yongsan

One of the reasons many people love Yongsan Brunch Serendy Piknic is that it is a genuinely pet-friendly cafe.
If you contact the cafe before visiting with your dog, they even prepare floral-patterned pet cushions and arrange more comfortable seating in advance. That thoughtful detail alone says a lot about how carefully they treat their guests.
Unlike places that simply allow pets as an afterthought, Serendy Piknic genuinely feels welcoming toward animal companions.
Menu of Yongsan Brunch Serendy Piknic

The menu itself is presented almost like a beautifully designed magazine.
Once seated, the staff personally brings over a box-style menu book that feels more like a coffee table design object than a regular restaurant menu. The cover features the exterior of Serendy Piknic itself, and inside you scan a QR code to browse the full menu digitally.
The left side focuses on food while the right side introduces the wine lineup.
Every menu item includes:
- Professional photos
- Korean and English names
- Clear categories
So even foreign visitors unfamiliar with Korean brunch culture can order comfortably.
The hardest part honestly was choosing only one dish.
Everything looked delicious, and judging by nearby tables, portions were clearly large enough that ordering two full dishes alone would have been overwhelming for a solo brunch.
I finally chose the menu item I had been eyeing on Instagram before visiting.
Originally, I wanted to enjoy brunch with a glass of wine, but since I drove that day, I asked whether they had non-alcoholic wine options. Instead, the staff kindly offered to make a special custom non-alcoholic drink designed to pair well with the food.
Interestingly, this drink was not even officially on the menu — but it turned out to be genuinely excellent.
Food Review of Yongsan Brunch Serendy Piknic

One detail I loved immediately was how the staff first asked whether I preferred cold water or warm water. Small details like that made the service feel especially thoughtful.
Although lunchtime became quite busy, sitting directly in front of the open kitchen made waiting enjoyable. Watching the chefs prepare and plate each dish step-by-step added a lot to the experience.

The custom-made drink arrived first.
It combined black tea with orange juice, creating a refreshing flavor unlike anything I had tasted before. Bright, citrusy, and lightly sweet, it worked perfectly as an appetizer drink before the heavier brunch dishes.

Then came the Cheese Oven Pasta.
Even visually, it was beautiful. The Serendy Piknic logo printed on the plate matched the overall aesthetic perfectly.

The mini pepperoni pieces looked almost cute scattered across the massive blanket of melted cheese. But once I lifted the cheese layer, I realized just how enormous the portion actually was.

For cheese lovers, this dish is honestly paradise.
The cheese stretched endlessly, the pasta texture was perfectly chewy, and the sauce coated every bite beautifully. Even the seasoning balance felt spot-on.
The only warning?
The portion is absolutely huge.
As a solo brunch dish, it easily feels like enough for two people. No matter how much I ate, the amount barely seemed to decrease.

Thankfully, the homemade pickles added a refreshing crunch that balanced the richness of the pasta perfectly.
