After enjoying it so much on previous visits, this was already my third time visiting Ellui Pizza, this time for another casual date night.

The restaurant is located just about a 2-minute walk from Wangsimni Station Exit 6.
Although Exit 6 can be slightly confusing to find, many people already use that exit as a meeting point before heading into the Hanyang University food street. Once you come out of Exit 6, the restaurant is very easy to reach.
If you are driving, parking near the restaurant is difficult. Instead, it is recommended to park at the E-Mart above Wangsimni Station or nearby private parking lots.
My first visit happened by coincidence when I noticed the bright lights and stylish exterior while walking past the restaurant. Since then, it has become one of my go-to places whenever I want a relaxed drink with good food.

Because pizza and fried chicken are perfect for both meals and late-night snacks, Ellui Pizza is popular at all hours — whether it’s for a first dinner spot or a late-night drink.

Inside the restaurant, there is a waiting list and seating area prepared for guests, as the restaurant often gets full during dinner hours.
There is even a small photo spot designed for social media pictures, which many visitors enjoy while waiting.
When we arrived around dinner time, the restaurant was already completely full, even though other nearby restaurants were still relatively quiet.
Fortunately, we had made a reservation, so we were able to enter immediately. Other guests who walked in without reservations were relieved that at least there wasn’t a long line yet.
The first floor consists of a main dining hall and a smaller secondary area, with tables arranged for both small groups and larger gatherings.
Most tables are four-person tables, making the restaurant ideal for both couples and groups. There are also larger group tables available, which makes it a great option for gatherings with friends.
We were guided to the second floor, which had just opened for the evening.
Compared to the lively first floor, the second floor felt slightly quieter and more intimate. It features several four-person tables along the window and a few additional tables in the center.
Because fewer staff members are stationed upstairs, guests can help themselves to basic items such as sauces and pickles from a nearby station. However, the staff usually respond quickly when called.
Menu at Wangsimni Pizza Restaurant Ellui Pizza
As the name suggests, the main menu at Ellui Pizza focuses on pizza.
There are many varieties available depending on toppings, and the restaurant also offers set menus designed for groups.
One of the best features is the half-and-half pizza option, which allows you to enjoy two flavors in one pizza — something we always order.
The menu also includes a wide variety of side dishes, such as:
• pasta
• fried chicken
• tteokbokki
• french fries
This makes it a perfect place for groups where everyone wants something different.
The drink selection is also impressive. The restaurant offers a wide range of draft beers, bottled beers, cocktails, soju, and soft drinks.
Orders are placed through table tablets, allowing guests to browse the menu and place orders quickly.
The Food of Wangsimni Pizza Restaurant Ellui Pizza
Each table is prepared with pizza seasonings such as red pepper flakes, parmesan cheese, and hot sauce.
We started the evening with a glass of Red Rock draft beer, which was refreshing and perfect for pairing with pizza.
Soon after, our food arrived.
For our date night meal, we ordered a combination that might feel heavy for two people but works perfectly together: fried chicken and pizza.
The seasoned fried chicken was coated generously in sweet sauce. The chicken was surprisingly tender, with soft meat and flavorful sauce soaked into the crispy exterior.
Since it isn’t extremely spicy, it’s also one of the most popular dishes among international visitors who come to Ellui Pizza.
Interestingly, the salad mixed into the dish still retained its crunchy texture, adding a refreshing contrast.
Next came the half-and-half pizza.
Although the crust looks thick, the texture is surprisingly light and not too heavy.
We ordered jalapeño pepperoni and combination pizza.
The jalapeño pepperoni was exactly what you would expect — loaded with pepperoni and spicy jalapeños, making it a perfect match for beer.
The combination pizza, however, had a slightly sweeter flavor from the corn topping, which might appeal especially to those who enjoy milder, sweeter pizza styles.
One thing that always stands out at Wangsimni Pizza Restaurant Ellui Pizza is the generous amount of cheese and toppings. The pizza slices feel heavy in the best way possible.
