The café is small but cleverly designed, with a glass wall that opens up the space. There are about four seats by the window, four two-person tables, and a small, cozy nook with a curtain for privacy. There’s also a bar area where you can chat with the barista.

Yaksu Station Café, Upside Coffee Yaksu, Food Review:

First up was the Heabangchon Coffee, topped with the cute face of their meerkat mascot drawn in cream.

I hesitated to stir it because it was so adorable, but the barista advised me to mix the cream with the coffee for the best flavor.

The rich, sweet cream perfectly complemented the coffee beneath, making for a deliciously smooth and comforting drink.

Next, I tried the Lemon Pound Cake, which was dense and moist. The texture was perfect, and the subtle lemon flavor paired wonderfully with the coffee. It’s the kind of dessert that’s both satisfying and refreshing, especially when you alternate between the cake and sips of iced Americano.

Lastly, the Valrhona Chocolate Financier. This striped pastry, made with high-quality Valrhona chocolate, was a delightful surprise. The chocolate had a rich, bold flavor, and the financier itself was soft and buttery, creating a perfect balance of sweetness.
