One day, while passing by, I realized it had completely transformed into a frozen pork belly (naengsamgyeopsal) restaurant. And not just any naengsam—this place was generously serving it with fresh minari (Korean water parsley).
If you know Korean food, you already know: pork belly with minari is a guaranteed win.
Frozen pork belly has always been one of my favorites. It’s thinner, lighter, and less greasy than thick-cut samgyeopsal, making it easier to enjoy without feeling overly heavy. Add minari to the mix, and it becomes surprisingly refreshing. Light, aromatic, and incredibly satisfying.
By then, I had already heard plenty of praise—this place was known as a go-to Seolleung Station BBQ restaurant for company dinners, team gatherings, and casual group meetups. Weekdays were clearly impossible, so I visited on a weekend with my parents.

If you’re driving, the building offers 2 hours of free parking. Park in the Channel Reserve underground lot and take the elevator from Building 101.
If you get lost inside, stepping outside helps—the restaurant’s bold signage with a pig illustration makes it easy to spot.

Don’t underestimate weekends in this area.
Even though Seolleung feels quiet outside office hours, the restaurant fills up quickly. When I arrived early in the evening, several tables were already enjoying drinks, and shortly after, a large group—clearly a club or gathering—walked in.
The space is built around four-person tables, but they can easily be combined for larger parties. It’s obvious why this place has become a favorite for company dinners and group meals.
Reservation is strongly recommended, especially if you’re visiting with more than two people.

Given the office-heavy neighborhood, I initially wondered how a pork belly restaurant handled lunch hours. The answer was clever:
the space still serves Japanese-style rice bowls during weekday lunches—leftover from its previous concept.

The pork itself is impressive: same-day prepared, rapid-frozen, Grade 1 Korean female pork, served at 160g per portion. The price feels fair, especially considering the quality.
Side dishes go beyond the usual instant noodles. Instead, you’ll find items like:

It’s clear this is not a basic naengsam spot—it’s thoughtfully curated.

The table starts with chilled barley tea and a full tray of side dishes served on a traditional metal platter.
For my parents—both first-timers at a frozen pork belly restaurant—everything felt new and fascinating.

The pork itself deserves attention.
The color is vibrant, the slices slightly thicker than average frozen pork belly, and the quality is immediately visible.


The staff grills the first round for you, layering the pork neatly on the grill before adding generous piles of minari. They initially add half, but if you love minari like I do, you’ll want to add the rest right away.

A light sprinkle of pepper is used—not to mask any odor, but simply to enhance flavor. Honestly, the pork doesn’t need it. Wrapped in minari and eaten as-is, the combination is incredibly clean and aromatic.
Even the foil on the grill is premium, ensuring even cooking without burning—small details that show care.



As the meal progresses, you grill the rest yourself, adding more minari, then slowly incorporating kimchi, garlic, and fernbrake (gosari) once the pork fat renders.

For my parents, a meal is never complete without carbs.
We ordered cheonggukjang stew, and it was surprisingly rich and deeply flavorful—honestly good enough to deserve a lunch menu of its own. Mixed with rice, it disappeared instantly.

The volcano-style steamed egg finished the meal perfectly: fluffy, delicate, and comforting, lightly finished with perilla oil.
