Incheon Glamping Caravan Urbantage Camp – Fire & Stars in Ganghwa

It’s hard to remember the last time I truly looked up at the night sky.Somewhere between daily routines and city lights, stars quietly disappeared from view. That changed during this one-night escape—where fire-gazing by a crackling pit and stargazing under a wide-open sky became the highlight of a deeply healing trip.
This was my long-awaited visit to Incheon Glamping Caravan, Urbantage Camp, a glamping site in Ganghwa that has already become an Instagram favorite among trend-conscious travelers. Tucked away in nature yet still close to Seoul, it delivers both romance and comfort without the hassle of full-scale camping.
Why Incheon Glamping Caravan, Urbantage Camp Stands Out

Located just over an hour from Seoul, this IIncheon Glamping Caravan, Urbantage Camp site feels surprisingly remote—in the best way. Despite winter being an off-season for many outdoor stays, Urbantage Camp was fully booked. With over 20 caravans spread across a wide property, that alone says a lot.
Every corner feels thoughtfully designed. No matter the weather or season, the sky feels expansive here—perfect for sunsets, stars, and slow moments that city life rarely allows. If you’re planning a visit, booking early through Naver Reservation is highly recommended.

Site Overview & Shared Facilities of Incheon Glamping Caravan, Urbantage Camp

Check-in, check-out, and all site services are handled at the central building. This is also where you reserve and pay for BBQ sessions.

Unlike most caravan sites, parking is kept outside the main area, so luggage must be carried in. To make this easier—and more fun—wagons are provided. It’s a small touch, but one that adds to the overall experience, especially for couples or families.
The site includes 23 caravans and cabins, ranging from:
- 2-person units (max 3 guests)
- 4-person units (max 4 guests)
Children under 7 cost ₩10,000 extra; ages 8 and above are ₩20,000.
At the center of the site is a beautifully styled communal area with:

- Washing stations
- Shared refrigerators and freezers
- A wide selection of aesthetic cups, plates, cookware
- Tablecloths, blankets, disposable items—all free to use

Everything is clearly set up with a “bring your food, we’ll handle the vibe” philosophy. Tripods are even available for guests who want to capture photos.
Bathrooms & Showers at Incheon Glamping Caravan, Urbantage Camp

Each caravan is strictly a sleeping space—no private bathroom or kitchen inside. Instead, guests use shared facilities.

This might sound inconvenient at first, but the reality is quite the opposite. The shower rooms are among the cleanest and warmest I’ve experienced at any glamping site. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, facial cleanser, hair dryers, and plenty of hot water are all provided.
Bathrooms are well-maintained, heated, and cleaned frequently—even during full occupancy. If you’re visiting in winter, proximity matters. The “Calite Cream” caravan area is closest to all shared facilities and highly recommended for couples.
Inside the Caravan of Incheon Glamping Caravan, Urbantage Camp

Each vintage caravan is imported and fully remodeled, blending European charm with modern comfort.
Inside, you’ll find:
- A large bed with soft hotel-style bedding
- Electric heating pad under the mattress
- Heater and warm lighting
- Small vanity, mini fridge, kettle
- Towels, toothbrush, and toothpaste provided

The fridge is small, so in colder months, storing food outside is manageable. In warmer seasons, securing space in the shared fridge is essential.
Deck, Cabin & Fire Experience at Incheon Glamping Caravan, Urbantage Camp

Every caravan has a private deck and a small wooden cabin beside it—this is where Urbantage truly shines.

The cabin includes a wood-burning stove, making it ideal for cold or rainy days. Guests are allowed to bring their own fire pit and firewood after paying the initial BBQ fee. This flexibility sets Urbantage apart from many other sites.
We purchased firewood affordably at a local market on the way. Combined with the provided BBQ firewood, it was perfect for:
- Stove fire
- BBQ cooking
- Fire-gazing late into the night
BBQ Time

BBQ is prepared directly in front of your caravan by the site manager. Only firewood is used—no charcoal—so the heat is strong and fast. This makes earlier BBQ times more practical, especially in winter.

- BBQ fee: ₩30,000 for 2 people
- Additional guests: ₩10,000 per person
- Payment: Card or bank transfer
Outside guests are not allowed. Urbantage operates strictly as a private glamping site.
Fire-Gazing & Stargazing

After dinner, as the fire settled into glowing embers, someone nearby exclaimed, “Look at the sky.”

That moment—watching countless stars stitched across the night—was unforgettable. Sitting still, fire crackling beside us, stars overhead, all distractions quietly fading away. It felt like a reset.

Even the friendly site cats wandered over, drawn by warmth and grilled fish. Moments like these are why this place stays with you long after you leave.
Quiet hours run from 10 PM to 10 AM, keeping the atmosphere calm and respectful.
Morning & Checkout at Incheon Glamping Caravan, Urbantage Camp

- Dispose of trash and recycling behind the check-in office
- Fold and return borrowed blankets
Checkout is at 11 AM.
