Euljiro restaurant, Jinjak Euljiro: The Best Place for Solo Dining with Daechang Rice Bowl and Futomaki

Euljiro restaurant, Jinjak is a popular known for its daechang rice bowl and futomaki. Perfect for solo dining with high-quality ingredients and fast service.

Jinjak Euljiro: A Solo-Friendly Restaurant with Outstanding Rice Bowls and Futomaki

I personally enjoy dining at restaurant brands operated by Anjurim, a well-known Korean F&B group.

Their food consistently stays within a “safe but delicious” range that almost anyone can enjoy, while each brand maintains a clearly defined atmosphere and concept.

What stands out the most is the staff energy.

Sometimes it honestly feels like everyone has shares in the company—so proactive, friendly, and genuinely engaged. You don’t just leave full; you leave energized.

In Euljiro, one of Seoul’s most competitive food districts, Anjurim has practically taken over an entire alley. Starting with Euljidarak, followed by Jinjak, Jinjak Khaki, and most recently 82 Orleans, all the brands sit close together and grow through strong synergy.

Among them, when people talk about daechang rice bowls and futomaki, Jinjak is the clear winner.

After craving it for days, I finally visited on the first day of the Lunar New Year holiday—when most office workers were gone. Timing couldn’t have been better.

Waiting System & Best Time to Visit, Euljiro restaurant, Jinjak Euljiro

Seeing the waiting area completely empty was a first for me.
Normally, Euljiro restaurant, Jinjak Euljiro’s line forms quickly and disappears in waves as tables turn over.

The restaurant is designed for quick but satisfying meals rather than long stays, so even when there is a wait, it moves fast.
For maximum convenience, Catch Table remote waiting is recommended.

Interior & Seating of Euljiro restaurant, Jinjak Euljiro

Euljiro restaurant, Jinjak Euljiro operates on two floors.

First Floor

  • Ideal for solo dining
  • Wall-facing counter seats
  • Open kitchen bar seating where you can watch the plating process

Second Floor

  • Standard tables for 2 or 4 people
  • Best for sharing multiple dishes

I chose the wall-side counter seat—perfect for eating alone and getting some work done.

Although seating is compact, each spot comes with a deep basket for bags, a small but thoughtful detail.

Menu Overview at Euljiro restaurant, Jinjak Euljiro

“Jinjak” literally means “a true masterpiece.”

The menu reflects that philosophy:

  • Japanese-inspired fusion dishes
  • Daechang (beef intestines) rice bowls
  • Premium futomaki
  • Katsu, pasta, and light alcohol options

Everything is built around high-quality ingredients and balanced flavors.

Personally, my must-orders are always:

  • Daechang Rice Bowl
  • Futomaki

Even when dining solo, I usually order both.

Drinks & Beverages

Jinjak keeps its drink menu simple but well-matched to the food.

One detail I personally appreciate across all Anjurim brands is that bottled water is served instead of tap water. It’s a small thing, but it adds to the overall clean and thoughtful dining experience.

I ordered the Green Apple Ade, which is visually appealing and refreshing, but there’s one important tip:
make sure to stir it well before drinking.

If you don’t, the syrup settles at the bottom, and the first sip can be overwhelmingly sweet. Once properly mixed, however, the drink becomes crisp and lightly sour with a subtle mojito-like aroma that pairs well with rich dishes like daechang rice bowls.

For solo dining, one drink is more than enough, especially since the food itself is quite filling.
That said, the ade’s bright color and fresh flavor make it a popular choice, and I often find myself ordering it again simply because it looks good and complements the meal nicely.

Food Review: Why Euljiro restaurant, Jinjak Euljiro Is So Popular

Euljiro restaurant

All Anjurim brands serve bottled water, a detail I genuinely appreciate.

Each dish arrives neatly plated, making it easy to share—or enjoy solo without feeling overwhelmed. Portions look modest at first, but they’re more filling than expected.

Daechang Rice Bowl

Euljiro restaurant

This was my first-ever daechang rice bowl, and it set the standard.

  • Rich beef fat balanced by sweet-spicy sauce
  • Pickled onions cut through the heaviness
  • Wasabi and chili peppers add sharp contrast

I recommend mixing first without wasabi, then adding it gradually.

Euljiro restaurant
Paired with kimchi or white kimchi and a touch of fresh wasabi, the flavor balance is outstanding.

The accompanying spicy broth, filled with vegetables and meat, is excellent poured over rice for an extra bite.

Futomaki

Euljiro restaurant

Jinjak’s futomaki is among the largest I’ve seen outside high-end izakayas.

Inside:

  • Conger eel
  • Fried shrimp
  • Burdock root
  • Pickled vegetables
  • Tamagoyaki
  • Otoro (fatty tuna belly)
  • Chutoro (medium-fat tuna)

The roll is thinly wrapped but generously filled.
It’s meant to be eaten in one bite—but realistically, it’s massive.

No fishiness, just clean, rich flavor.

Seasonal Surprise

Euljiro restaurant

As a Lunar New Year bonus, they served a complimentary traditional Korean snack (yugwa).
Crispy outside, chewy inside—an unexpectedly thoughtful touch.

Final Thoughts about Euljiro restaurant, Jinjak Euljiro

Euljiro restaurant, Jinjak Euljiro has become my personal benchmark for daechang rice bowls.
The balance of richness, spice, acidity, and texture is hard to beat.

The futomaki is equally impressive—clean, generous, and deeply satisfying.

Whether you’re dining alone, grabbing a quick lunch near the office, or planning a casual dinner date, Jinjak is one of the best Euljiro restaurants to bookmark.

This visit was all about perfect timing—but even with a wait, it’s absolutely worth it.
