Interior and Atmosphere, Daehangno Restaurant, Sketch Table
The restaurant’s bright yellow door catches your eye as you walk down the street, inviting you into a space filled with vintage charm and romantic vibes.
The first floor has a more casual dining atmosphere, with a large open kitchen and bar area. However, for a more relaxed and extended dining experience, most guests are directed to the second floor.
Upon reaching the second floor, you feel as if you’ve stepped into a scene from an Italian movie. The sunlight streaming through the windows, the soft background music, and the vintage-modern décor create a warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for a cozy meal or a romantic date, with every detail, from the lighting to the decorative accents, contributing to the ambiance.

Dining Experience at Daehangno Restaurant, Sketch Table
My own Experience on my own Instagram
As we returned to our table, our cocktails and a basket of freshly baked bread were waiting for us. The attention to detail at Sketch Table is evident in every aspect of the presentation.
The vibrant colors of the cocktails paired perfectly with the tableware, showcasing the staff’s artistic flair.
The Ewha Shower, a light and refreshing cocktail made with elderflower and lemon juice, was a perfect brunch accompaniment. The name is a playful twist on the traditional Aperol Shower, reflecting the restaurant’s location near Ewha intersection.
My Apple Mojito was equally delightful, with a refreshing minty taste and the crispness of fresh green apples—a drink that instantly transported me to the sunny beaches of Miami.
The freshly baked bread served with house-made ricotta cheese, apple marmalade, chili sauce, and Shine Muscat grapes was another highlight. Each bite was a perfect harmony of flavors.
Next came the signature Grilled Bowl Salad. This hearty salad can be customized with either shrimp and bacon or grilled beef slices—we opted for the shrimp and bacon. The salad was a generous serving, with fresh grilled romaine lettuce as the base, topped with plump shrimp, crispy bacon, olives, avocado, nuts, beans, bell peppers, red onions, and a scoop of creamy ricotta cheese. Visually stunning and absolutely delicious, it’s one of the best salads I’ve had in Seoul.
The Gnocchi was another standout dish. These large, fluffy potato dumplings were served with a puree made from Jeju carrots, arugula, and house-cured ham. The combination of sweet, earthy flavors and the savory elements from the ham created a dish that was both comforting and sophisticated.

Whether you’re here for a casual brunch, a romantic dinner, or simply to unwind with friends over cocktails, every moment at Sketch Table feels special. The attention to detail, from the thoughtfully prepared dishes to the charming atmosphere, ensures that your dining experience will be memorable.
