Interior Space of Yaksu Brunch Cafe Chubby

One thing I noticed immediately was how popular Yaksu Brunch Cafe Chubby already is among local residents.

Even though I arrived close to opening time, many of the window seats were already occupied by parents from nearby schools enjoying coffee and brunch together.

The kitchen and counter serve as the centerpiece of the cafe, reflecting how seriously the team takes food preparation.
Around this central space, seating is thoughtfully arranged to accommodate different types of guests.
Along the windows, you’ll find comfortable tables for two and four people. These spots are perfect for enjoying natural sunlight while eating brunch.
In the center of the cafe, there is a large communal table that works well for solo diners, casual meetings, or group lunches.
Because of this layout, Yaksu Brunch Cafe Chubby feels equally suitable for solo brunch dates, friendly gatherings, business lunches, or small team meetings.
Outside, a small terrace area offers additional seating. While it’s better suited for coffee and drinks than full meals, it’s a pleasant option during Seoul’s warmer months.
Yaksu Brunch Cafe Chubby also provides thoughtful touches such as self-service water stations and blankets for guests who may feel chilly.
One detail I especially appreciated was seeing the chef’s Le Cordon Bleu diploma displayed inside the cafe. It instantly adds credibility and helps explain why the food feels more refined than what you’d typically expect from a neighborhood brunch spot.

Since Yaksu Brunch Cafe Chubby has become increasingly popular among locals, reservations are highly recommended, especially if you prefer the window seats or plan to visit with a larger group.
Menu of Yaksu Brunch Cafe Chubby
The menu at Yaksu Brunch Cafe Chubby is refreshingly focused.
Rather than overwhelming guests with endless options, Yaksu Brunch Cafe Chubby concentrates on healthy dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and careful technique.
Each menu item includes a clear description, and recommended dishes are marked to help first-time visitors choose more easily.
The drink menu is equally impressive.
In addition to coffee and non-coffee beverages, Yaksu Brunch Cafe Chubby offers a thoughtfully curated selection of wines and beers that pair beautifully with brunch dishes.
It feels like the perfect place for a relaxed weekend brunch accompanied by a glass of wine.
Although I briefly considered ordering wine, I ultimately decided to focus entirely on the healthy side of the menu and see whether chicken breast could truly become something exciting.
Food of Yaksu Brunch Cafe Chubby

Despite arriving before the lunch rush, Yaksu Brunch Cafe Chubby quickly filled up around noon.
Fortunately, the food arrived relatively quickly.
The friend who joined me is currently preparing for a fitness photoshoot, and even she was surprised by how appealing healthy food could look.

The Sous-Vide Chicken Avocado Sandwich immediately stood out.

The sandwich was so generously filled that it almost resembled one of those oversized deli sandwiches you see online. Inside were thick slices of avocado, tender sous-vide chicken breast, tomatoes, and crisp lettuce.

The ingredients themselves are simple, but the seasoning brings everything together beautifully.
The chicken remains juicy, the avocado adds richness, and the vegetables provide freshness and crunch.
Even better, the sandwich comes with a generous side salad, making it feel like a complete meal.
One thing worth noting is the portion size. For many people, finishing the entire sandwich alone may be surprisingly challenging.

To accompany the meal, I ordered the Lemon Ade.
Made with real lemons rather than syrup, it tasted incredibly fresh and refreshing. The sparkling water keeps it light and clean, although I strongly recommend stirring it thoroughly before drinking to ensure the flavors are evenly mixed.
The highlight of the visit, however, was undoubtedly Yaksu Brunch Cafe Chubby’s signature salad.
At first glance, the vibrant orange purée looked like pumpkin, and pumpkin may indeed be part of the recipe. But after multiple bites, I still couldn’t identify exactly what ingredients were used.
What I did know was that it was absolutely delicious.

The sous-vide chicken breast was perfectly cooked, remaining tender and moist without any dryness.

Combined with crisp lettuce, cabbage, cherry tomatoes, and the house-made purée, every bite delivered a balance of freshness, texture, and flavor.

This is the kind of salad that completely changes your perception of healthy eating.
Rather than feeling like diet food, it feels like something you’d order simply because it’s genuinely good.
Final Thoughts about Yaksu Brunch Cafe Chubby
As the weather gets warmer and lighter clothing starts coming out again, many of us begin thinking about healthier eating habits.
The problem is that healthy meals often feel repetitive or unsatisfying.
Yaksu Brunch Cafe Chubby completely changes that experience. From the flavorful sous-vide chicken breast to the creative house-made purée and fresh ingredients, every dish proves that nutritious food can also be exciting and satisfying.
If you’re looking for a healthy brunch cafe near Yaksu Station, a great salad spot in Seoul, or simply a place where healthy eating doesn’t feel like a sacrifice, Yaksu Brunch Cafe Chubby is an easy recommendation.
For anyone currently focusing on fitness goals, healthy eating, or simply wanting a delicious brunch made with care, Yaksu Brunch Cafe Chubby is a place you’ll likely want to revisit again and again.
